Expansion Broadcast: Drum & Bass and Dubstep Podcast

That’s right, the two of us are opening up at Upfront’s Four Year Anniversary party at Five on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007. Also on the night are Baltimore’s Cannon Boyz, and then Hive (Violence / Metalheadz - SF) and Noisia (Vision / Subtitles / Renegade Hardware - NL) filling out the rest of the main room.

The kids love the Noisia.

Also, the rooftop will feature Tittsworth, making everyone get their funk on, plus the mysterious Bob Jong Lill (OMG WHO IS IT, WHO IS IT!?!?) and Ken Lazee. Check out the Upfront website for more details on the event. And be sure to come out, because we are primed to rave.

Podcast 27 is now up. I have chopped it up into two parts, but there are definitely way more than two djs. Drum and bass, hip hop, and dubstep were all spun by a range of guest djs, including but not limited to Jungle Jessi, Jukata, Psykofly, Quannum Logic, Ransom, Darkenetiks, and Brian Arsenault.

My birthday party went off awesomely, as was to be expected. Even the cops showed up to wish me a happy birthday.. I gave them the link to our show. Always looking for new listeners, you know?

Tomorrow night is gonna be awesome. It’s muh birthday. AAAND I just got a huge promotion. AND everything is awesome. AAAND there’s gonna be a shit ton of dnb djs at my house. There will be no order to the madness. DJs will come and go as they please, passing across the decks like wind in the desert of my haunted soul. AWESOME.

People who are probably gonna come play some records at some point: ME, Skandalus, Jungle Jessi, Jukata, Carlo, Hyx, Psykofly, Quannum Logic, Darkenetiks, Hitoi, Hollowpoint Ransom, Brian Arsenault, and maybe even some more. Also, some of those people might not play. It’s a madhouse, NOBODY KNOWS!!!

My title to this post sucks. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that myself and Deinfamous are playing at Sonar this Wednesday. Actual Fact, DJ C, Wicked Sway, and Bassmachine will also be playing in the club side and I’m pretty certain Mr. Brandon Riggs will be playing in the lounge that evening as well. It’s a whopping $2 to get in but in case that really breaks the bank for your bitch ass monetarily-conscious-self, drop me a line via our contact form with your full name and anyone else’s name and I’ll put ya on the nearly pointless extremely exclusive guest list! Fun!

…And what a show it was! This past Friday couldn’t have gone better. On behalf of EXBC, I wanna thank Perpetuum and B-Line for making the trip over to the EXBC compound and really throwin down. Aside from a few slips ups (oops, pulled the USB cord on the Serrato!), everything went very smoothly (hey, at least I didn’t broadcast video game music over the air again). I’ll leave it to Deinfamous, B-Line, and Perp to post track listings. Good times had by all (except for me the next morning - hungover!)
