EXBC Takeover at Strangeland = IllEffect + Shade + Deinfamous + Hitoi + Darkenetiks + Ransom. We’re all there (’cept Harry) and its gonna be wiiiiiiiiiiiild. That’s wild with 12 i’s. Count ‘em. I just did.

So yes as you probably deciphered by now, we’re doing another takeover at Strangeland Records. It’s gonna be this Saturday, June 2nd starting at 8 PM. It’s free. They got records. We got records. You got ears. We got music. Somehow this makes you want to come. I know it does. So come.

So last week we ran some pre-recorded mixes for you on account of the holiday weekend and our general laziness. Since none of the mixes were made explicitly for or on the show, I’m just going to provide you with the links. The downtempo mix of mine that I played for the first hour was actually like half a mix (the other half dnb) which isn’t online anywhere.. so that’s only available by, um, ’special request.’ After that, we played:

So Deinfamous and I are back in action at Sonar in Baltimore tonight. According to the website, Insane Clown Posse are playing in the warehouse room as well. So between us, some house music in the lounge, and ICP in the warehouse, Sonar pretty much has all your shitty music covered. But if you’re into shitty music, (and I know you are!) come check it out tonight. Its only two frickin bucks! Yes, frickin!

Sorry about the late post. Due to holiday time constraints and such, we’re going to be having a special format show tonight. I’ll be playing select previously recorded mp3s for the duration of the show. I am currently collecting them and not quite sure yet what I will play, but so far I’ve decided on an old downtempo mix of mine to start (vol. 17), and Jungle Jessi’s Solyaris (we promised). Here’s a shining live mix from one of Baltimore’s best DJ - Demetrios.

I just wanted to cover alot of ground with this set. Playing at Five I knew I would be able to drop some big tunes but I had to build up to that point since the crowd was a little sparse when I first hit the decks. I think the set is a good example of the diveristy of the music right now. I love it all and I like to show that when I play.
