Tonight marks the first night of our change of format… drum and bass 7-9pm hosted by yours truly with special guest Carlo, and then dubstep from 9-11pm hosted by our good friends up in Baltimore: Ricky Ricardo and Whighzeguy.
Happy Birthday to Mr. Darkenetiks!!!
And winding up the night nicely, good ol’ Rogue State of Translation Recordings wraps up the night with a set I could really get into. Well done sir.
Ol’ reliable Beasley fills in while Colleen puts on her hater-pants. Don’t worry Mike, Colleen will learn to love “angry drum and bass”.
Although, admittedly, this really isn’t all that angry. Girls are dumb.
Subfugitive makes his debut on EXBC radio. I still feel like a total ass for having left him and his wife outside for who knows how long while my crap cell phone decided to stop receiving calls. Everyone will be happy to know I’ve since replaced that phone (with yet another hand-me-down).
Not too shabby if I do say so myself.

09/23/2007 - Sin @ Modern _DC
Eric and I played here last month, really nice space, but they need some bodies in the venue to really get things moving. They recently decided on a name for this new dnb weekly, and it is Sin. The past few weeks have seen J Smooth, Telemetrik and Relapse play, and next week it is myself and Jae Kennedy from Philly, along with Illy MC and residents Jaybird (he’s new to the DC area) and Inflictz.
09/29/2007 - Throttle Like A Rock Star @ Element Lounge _Richmond, VA
So who wants to road trip? Because I am going to be playing down in the RVA for the first time in about three or four years, and it’s a two room event with Dara headlining the dnb room, plus myself and Jungle Jessi coming down from DC, and then some local support (I believe Sabertooth? Cool name, he’s part of the Konkrete Jungle even down there), and the second room has Bassbin Twins headlining. R A V E.

Mike and I are playing B2B. That is big time. We’re also sharing a 1.5 hour slot. That’s big too. First ever Darkenetiks & Ransom tag team of greatness. Plus a lot of our local friends are playing this night too. EXBC gettin’ tipsy.
Harry had a pretty fancy lil’ set right here. I’d definitely recommend you download this one.
I’ll be honest. I’m rusty. But at least I played some new tunes. Harry’s set is better so grab that one instead.
Tonight good ol’ HHR and I will be holding down the show from 7-9 PM. Then, we’re gonna pack up shop and head up to Baltimore for Calyx and Teebee. So with that said, we’ll forgive you if you wanna stop listening at 9. If, however, you’re one of the millions of people who can’t get enough EXBC, you can continue listening to whatever prerecorded mix I throw on.
