03/22/2008 at Expansion Broadcast Allstars @ Shorty’s _Baltimore - you see that? ALLSTARS: IllEffect, Ransom, Ricky Ricardo and Whighzeguy plus guests Eternal and Blanco. We’re starting at 130-ish BPM and ramping it up to 175+ by the end of the night.
04/03/2008 at RADAR @ Shorty’s _Baltimore - breakbeat set at Wickity and Stryder’s new breakbeat-oriented weekly.
That covers all of my upcoming bookings, at least that I know of. I will be down in Miami during the WMC, but doubt I am playing any events and probably only going to make it to one or two anyways. And this may leave some listeners wondering about the other EXBC members… where are they playing in the next month or two? Well:

So I can’t quite remember (as you might have gathered from the title) whether or not Ali/Hitoi played as well Mikenetiks. So um, yeah. I do know that things got downright silly drunk towards the end of his/their set.

So yes as you probably deciphered by now, we’re doing another takeover at Strangeland Records. It’s gonna be this Saturday, June 2nd starting at 8 PM. It’s free. They got records. We got records. You got ears. We got music. Somehow this makes you want to come. I know it does. So come.
Darktoieffect, aka Darkenetiks, Hitoi, and myself, kept it running across the board. We started the set off smooth and went every which way from there. You really can’t go wrong with this set.
It’s been a quiet week for us but don’t you worry, Expansion Broadcast is back in action this Friday! I’ve been trying to do a tag session with Darkenetiks for quite some time now but it kept getting pushed back for one reason or another. Well, once we settled on a date we decided to just go balls-to-the-wall and throw Hitoi into the mix (what a clever pun). We got Altered Alter-Ego opening things up for us so I promise it’ll be a tasty little show - so tune in!
That’s right, the two of us are opening up at Upfront’s Four Year Anniversary party at Five on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007. Also on the night are Baltimore’s Cannon Boyz, and then Hive (Violence / Metalheadz - SF) and Noisia (Vision / Subtitles / Renegade Hardware - NL) filling out the rest of the main room.
The kids love the Noisia.
Also, the rooftop will feature Tittsworth, making everyone get their funk on, plus the mysterious Bob Jong Lill (OMG WHO IS IT, WHO IS IT!?!?) and Ken Lazee. Check out the Upfront website for more details on the event. And be sure to come out, because we are primed to rave.

Tomorrow night is gonna be awesome. It’s muh birthday. AAAND I just got a huge promotion. AND everything is awesome. AAAND there’s gonna be a shit ton of dnb djs at my house. There will be no order to the madness. DJs will come and go as they please, passing across the decks like wind in the desert of my haunted soul. AWESOME.
People who are probably gonna come play some records at some point: ME, Skandalus, Jungle Jessi, Jukata, Carlo, Hyx, Psykofly, Quannum Logic, Darkenetiks, Hitoi, Hollowpoint Ransom, Brian Arsenault, and maybe even some more. Also, some of those people might not play. It’s a madhouse, NOBODY KNOWS!!!
Tonight will surely be a huge night for DC drum and bass. Bailey, Nu:Tone, and Sub Focus can all be found at Upfront’s 5:DNB Sessions at Club Five tonight. Our very own Hitoi will be starting things off with her sexy-big-tune collection. There’s a $10 cover and things get started around 9:00 PM. I’ll see you there.
