4 years and running: We age, we adapt.

So the end September will mark the 4th year of expanding your broadcast (whatever that means). Ahh, I remember the early days like they were yesterday. 5 listeners. 3 hosts. A smelly, moldy basement to broadcast from. And a whole lotta drive to make this show happen.
And now here we are almost 4 years later: older, wiser, and even more awesome. Amazing. Yes we are.
Enough reflection, on with the point damn it
So some changes around here are on the horizon. For the past however damn long, we’ve been very much focused on drum and bass. Sure, we throw in a little of this and a little of that every now and then but for all intents and purposes, EXBC = “drum n’ bass all up in yo’ face.” Well, that’s about to change. Starting September 28th, we’ll be splitting the show right down the middle. For the first 2 hours, you’ll still get to enjoy the sexy, soothing sounds of my voice (and Liam’s voice every now and then) as I guide you on a magical drum and bass journey (and all that other crap). For the second two hours, you’ll be entertained by two close friends of mine that have been really pushing a new sound in the DC/Baltimore area. Greg/Whighzeguy and Kyril/Ricky Ricardo will be hosting the second two hours of EXBC each and every Friday from that point forward focusing their efforts on dubstep.

“Sweet, dubstep is awesome. EXBC is now even more awesome!”

And a few other changes…
I’m going to be making some minor changes to the site soon. Don’t expect anything really drastic. I am gonna redo a lot of the navigation of the site and better integrate tagging and all that cool web 2.0 shmanciness that’s so popular with the cool kids these days. Oh, and of course, you’ll be seeing two new cartoons of Whighzeguy and Ricky Ricardo. That is after all, the reason everyone visits this site.
So yeah. Blah blah blah, keep it locked, Expansion Broadcast.
