Greetings everyone!

For those of you that have been listening to Expansion Broadcast for some time, you’ll know we like to do these end-of-year run downs of our favorite releases from the closing year. We decided to switch things up a bit this year. Instead of doing a chart run down, we’re focusing on what we do best – mixes.

So I asked all our regular hosts along we some of good friends to chime in on what they thought the best tracks were from 2011 in the following genres: drum & bass, dubstep, and future bass. From those lists, we’ve assembled a mix from each respective genre to represent a sampling of some of our favorite tunes of 2011.

Our man Refugee offered to take on the future bass mix and that’s how we’ll be starting off this series. Check back Tuesday and Wednesday this week for the dubstep and drum & bass mixes.
