If any outfit deserves to wave the flag of ‘originator’, then Total Science is the one. A true pair of pioneers, Q-Project and Spinback have been on the forefront of hardcore jungle music since day one. From their amazing musicality displayed on LTJ Bukem’s ‘Logical Progression’ to the unparalleled rawness of ‘Champion Sound’, the charttopping ‘Soul Patrol’ or the Andy C-favoured ‘Squash’, these guys have it all. And then some.
Next to producing and setting all the new trends, they own the record labels that set the pace for everyone to follow: CIA, DeepKut and Advanced have spawned the likes of Hazard, Baron, Bungle, State of Mind, Break, Calibre, Zero T, Digital, Spirit, Lenzman and many more. Most recently, Total Science have caused enormous waves with their releases for DJ Friction’s Shogun Audio, DJ Die’s Clear Skyz and Goldie’s Metalheadz. The party starts at 8:00 PM and its free before 9:00. After that its only $5.00 to get in (21+ though). This all goes down at Breakers FX at 9715 Fairfax Blvd Fairfax, VA 22030.
