As I’m sure many of you will recall, we and Dirtbox had it out back in February this year. Hard to say who really won considering most of us were prettttttttttttyy trashed by the end of the night (myself VERY much included).

So we’ve decided to pull the crews together and have it out once again on Sunday, September 4th. Now you might be thinking “Sunday? Wha wha wha??” Not to worry young buck. The following day is Labor Day (= No Worky).

As usual, the event will be free. We’re kicking things off at 9 PM and going til whenever ODJ finally says “Uncle.” (So, 9:05?… Kiddddding!) This will be a friendly competition amongst friends who share nothing but love, respect, and a thirst for blood. Oh, and it’s free! Hope to see you all there.

Hootie B and all the guys behind the Sonic Butter events held at Sticky Rice in Baltimore are allowing us to takeover one night with an all bass music/future bass/future garage/not-dubstep/eric-step lineup featuring Harry Ransom, Refugee, and Erictronica (IllEffect).

This is going down Friday, June 10th, 2011 at Sticky Rice in Fells Point (1634 Aliceanna St., Baltimore, MD) and it’s free. This is one not be missed!

After you-have-no-idea-how-much-turmoil, back-and-forth, heartache, and suffering, we are happy to finally announce that ASC will be peforming at the DC Forward Festival! This particular event will be going down at the 411 Loft and will be co-hosted by Expansion Broadcast, I <3 Bass, and 2Tuff. Many more details to follow so watch this space!

Got a few things popping off this weekend. As previously mentioned, I [Erictronica] will be DJ’ing Friday at Godfather Sage’s 30th Birthday Bash. Also, Saturday, Deinfamous and I [IllEffect] will be tagging it up as D-FECT at BLAOW. All the details are on the Facebook event page but to give you a quick gist, its free and D and I are playing 12-1 AM. Hope to see some familiar faces this weekend!

Dan Amitai and I are gonna be DJ’ing at Jimmy Valentine’s in DC this Friday. It’s a free, low-key party that I’ll be kicking off at 10 and Dan will be getting on at midnight. At the moment I’m planning on playing some Erictronica type music but who knows, maybe I’ll play some drum and bass. Show up and let me know what ya wanna hear! I’m open to whatever.

I can’t speak to what everyone on the lineup will be playing but myself and local DC favorite, Locks, will definitely be handling the drum & bass department downstairs. Depending on how long I play, I hope to play a good range of drum & bass including some dancier bits and some real smooth sexy numbers. In any event, this will be a lot of fun.
